Queen Anne Boleyn granted 'rents and lands' previously enjoyed by Catherine of Aragon

On March 21 1534 , Anne Boleyn was granted 'certain lands and rents, the same as enjoyed by the princess Katharine, late wife of Arthur, Prince of Wales, the King's brother. ' Anne and Henry had been married for over a year at this point, and had welcomed their daughter, Princess Elizabeth, not too long after their wedding and Anne’s coronation as queen consort of England.


Anne was granted lands in the following counties:—Essex, Herts, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge, Hunts, Norhants, Lincoln, Rutland, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Oxford, Berks, Bucks, Hants, Wilts, Somerset, Dorset, Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester.
